Frequently Asked Questions:
TAS Checklist Software FAQs
Q: Can I make changes to the way my report looks?
A: Yes, but Review It Software will need to make the changes to the program to fit your particular
Report needs. There is an hourly fee associated with this service. Refer to the Purchase page for
more information.
Q: Can I put together a Report Standard Comments package for resale?
A: Yes, but they will need to be marketed through Review It Software, LLC and their resources.
You would receive 50% of the revenue obtained from your product. A consulting agreement would
be required for this. We want this to be mutually beneficial for both of us.
Q: What if ADAAG and TAS update to the new standards?
A: If it is done within the 12 months of your purchase, you will receive the update free of charge.
If it is past the 12 months from TAS Checklist Software purchase and you purchased the
Maintenance package as well, you would also receive the update automatically.
Q: How long after my 12 months Software purchase do I have to purchase the Maintenance
Package?
A: 4 Weeks from your 12 month Software purchase anniversary date. We will send you an email
notice reminding you of your pending anniversary and the time limitations. You will need to
purchase the software again after the 4 weeks.
Q: My report does not open properly when I export my session to HTML and get a "Done with
errors" message in the lower left of my Internet Explorer page. What is the problem?
A: This is probably due to you entering data (either in the Standard Comments file or within the
TAS Checklist Project Session in one or more of the fields) that contains either (" or ') quotation,
inch, apostrophes or foot marks. The reason for this is due to the HTML/Javascript thinking that
they are part of the coding in the program.
Q: TAS Checklist Software: why won't the page numbers that show on the Internet Explorer print
in my pdf printer?
A: In your pdf printer and on the print dialog box, make sure that the Page Scaling is set to Scale
to fit to printable area.
Q: TAS Checklist Software: Why are there quotation marks showing up at all of my addresses or
any text containing a comma?
A: When entering data in the Architectural Barriers Forms_data.txt file using your MS Excel
spread sheet and saving the file back to txt format, it will add the quotation marks at all cells that
have a comma between words. If you do not want the quotation marks you will need to go into
your MS Notepad program and click on the "Edit" drop down and select "Replace" or press
(Ctrl+H) to find all " (quotation) marks and click on "Replace All" with nothing. The only way to
eliminate the problem is either by editing in MS Notepad (which can be confusing when columns do
not line up when there are multiple rows) or you can also eliminate all commas in the txt document.
